# Perfect Referral API

> Provider scope-of-practice intelligence, built from real billing behavior.

A referral is a medical decision. The Perfect Referral API helps you make it well, by telling you whether a provider actually fits a given referral in practice, not just whether their specialty allows it in principle. Every answer is grounded in what providers really do, derived from public billing data, with a confidence label attached so you always know how much to trust it.
